lullaby

güzel grup muse un 10 parmağında 10 marifet solisti matthew bellamy nin en sevdiği the cure şarkısı.

loreena mckennitt'ın sadece sesiyle neler yapabildiğini gösteren şarkı.

Hypnogaja'nın kill switch adlı albümünün yedinci parçasıdır. güzeldir.

Once upon a time
Or so the story's told
Everyone lives happily
As the end unfolds

Forever sweet
And never ending

All i want is to know why
Life is not a lullaby

Reality tells
A different kind of tale
Everybody tries to win
But everyone fails

It's never sweet
And never ending

It's all a lie, tell me why
It's all a lie, the lullaby

It's all a lie, it's all a lie
Tell me why, tell me why

"O who can stand" deyişine kurban olurum dayı be!..

şarkının sözleri (bkz: steven wilson) a aittir.

Share my cup
Tie me up
Never apart
Break my heart.

Go to sleep
Wound me deep
Be at peace
Make me bleed.

Do no harm
Twist my arm
Lie with grace
Smash my face .

Kiss the ground
Track me down
Stop the noise
Smash my toys.

How does it feel without your drugs?
Sing you a lullaby
How does it feel without my love?
Sing you a lullaby.

örnek kullanımı;

"no one sings me lullabies and no one make me close my eyes"

echoes- pink floyd

(bkz: death whispered a lullaby)

mükemmel bir nickelback şarkısıdır, sözlerine şurdan ulaşılabilir;

bir wystan hugh auden şiiridir;

Lay your sleeping head, my love,
Human on my faithless arm;
Time and fevers burn away
Individual beauty from
Thoughtful children, and the grave
Proves the child ephemeral:
But in my arms till break of day
Let the living creature lie,
Mortal, guilty, but to me
The entirely beautiful.

Soul and body have no bounds:
To lovers as they lie upon
Her tolerant enchanted slope
In their ordinary swoon,
Grave the vision Venus sends
Of supernatural sympathy,
Universal love and hope;
While an abstract insight wakes
Among the glaciers and the rocks
The hermit's carnal ecstasy.

Certainty, fidelity
On the stroke of midnight pass
Like vibrations of a bell,
And fashionable madmen raise
Their pedantic boring cry:
Every farthing of the cost,
All the dreaded cards foretell,
Shall be paid, but from this night
Not a whisper, not a thought,
Not a kiss nor look be lost.

Beauty, midnight, vision dies:
Let the winds of dawn that blow
Softly round your dreaming head
Such a day of welcome show
Eye and knocking heart may bless,
Find the mortal world enough;
Noons of dryness find you fed
By the involuntary powers,
Nights of insult let you pass
Watched by every human love.

Nickelback' in yeni parçasıdır.

güzel bir nickelback eseri:

sözleri:

I know the feeling
of finding yourself stuck out on the ledge
and there ain t no healing
from cutting yourself with the jagged edge
I m telling you that
it s never that bad
take it from someone who s been where your at
laid out on the floor
and you re not sure
you can take this anymore

So just give it one more try to a lullaby
and turn this up on the radio
if you can hear me now
I m reaching out
to let you know that you re not alone
and you can t tell, I m scared as hell
‘cause I can t get you on the telephone
so just close your eyes
well honey here comes a lullaby
your very own lullaby

Please let me take you
out of the darkness and into the light
I have faith in you
but you re gonna make it through another night
stop thinking about the easy way out
there s no need to go and blow the candle out
because you re not done,
you re far too young and the best is yet to come

So just give it one more try to a lullaby
and turn this up on the radio
if you can hear me now I m reaching out
to let you know that you re not alone
and you can t tell, I m scared as hell
I can t get you on the telephone
so just close your eyes
well honey here comes a lullaby
your very own lullaby

Everybody s hit the bottom
and everybody s been forgotten
and everybody s tired of being alone
everybody s been abandoned
and left a little empty handed
so if you re out there barely hanging on

So just give it one more try to a lullaby
and turn this up on the radio
If you can hear me now I m reaching out
to let you know that you re not alone
and you can t tell, I m scared as hell
I can t get you on the telephone
so just close your eyes
well honey here comes a lullaby
your very own lullaby

well honey here comes a lullaby
your very own lullaby

amerikan indie rock grubu low'un i could live in hope adlı çıkış albümlerinden bir parça.

yutubu'su: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XaSVkb_XLt4

sözlerini de yazayım tam olsun:

cross over and turn
feel the spot don't let it burn
we all want we all yearn
be soft don't be stern

lullaby
was not supposed to make you cry
i sang the words i meant
i sang
