American Gangster , Black Hawk Down , Alien ve The Good Wife gibi yapımlardan tanıdığımız Ridley Scott'ın yapımcılığı üstlendiği dizi Robin Cook'un 1977 yılında yazdığı ve 1978 yılında filmi çekilen çok satan, aynı isimli romandan uyarlanmış.
Dizinin konusu; Peach Tree Memorial Hospital'ta genç bir stajyer olan doktor adayı Susan Wheeler'ın gereğinden fazla olan ameliyat sonrası komaları araştırmaya başlamasıyla gelişiyor. Bu araştırmaları sonucu gizemli sonuçlara ulaşan doktor adayı gizem ve gerilim dolu bir maceranın içinde buluyor kendini. Ameliyat öncesi, sonrası ve komaya girme nedenlerini araştırmaya başlayan genç doktor bilmesi gerekenden çok fazlasını bilmeye başlıyor. Ulaştığı sonuçlar, hastaların tıbbı deney malzemesi olması ve bilimsel araştırmalara yasadışı konu olmaları üzerine kurulu. Komaya giren insanlar kendilerini post apokaliptik bir evrende bulurlar ve burada kendilerini avlayan bir takım yaratıklara karşı mücadele verirler, çünkü avlanmaları demek koma esnasında ölmeleri demektir...
Hayal alemine dair filmlerden pek hoşlanmadığım ve oyunculuklar sırıttığı için ben filmi pek sevmedim.
