jeff buckley

dream brother

there is a child sleeping with his twin"
iki yuzluydu, iki tarafi vardi, bir ikizi vardi..
o uyuyan cocuk ben miydim acaba?

"the pictures go wild in a rush of wind"
hersey siliniyor, gidiyor. unutuyorum..

"that dark angel he is shuffling in
watching over them with his black feather wings unfurled"

"the love you lost with her skin so fair
is free with the wind in her butterscotch hair"
onun teni, sicakligi.. saclari..
cok uzakta.

"her green eyes blew goodbyes
with her head in her hands"
gozlerim onunkilere benziyor, yesil degil ama.
gozlerime bakinca agliyorum, insan kendi gozune aglar mi?

"and your kiss on the lips of another"
benden baskasiyla konustu son kez.
son kez benimle olmadi.

"dream brother with your tears scattered round the world"
her yerde onun olmasinin sebebi ne? neden?
neden hersey gozyasi?

"don't be like the one who made me so old
don't be like the one who left behind his name"

" 'cause they're waiting for you like i waited for mine
and nobody ever came..."
evet ben de bekliyorum, ama gelecek. gelecekler.
olmazsa biz gideriz.

"i feel afraid and i call your name"
neden korkuyorum biliyor musun?
gelmenden korkuyorum.
hazirliksiz yakalanmaktan korkuyorum.
ama yine de seni bekliyorum. her gece.

"i love your voice and your dance insane"
simdi her zamankinden daha fazla hem de.

"i hear your words and i know your pain
with your head in your hands and her kiss on the lips of another"
simdi daha iyi anliyorum seni, soylediklerini.
neyden korktugunu simdi anliyorum.
neden bu kadar uzuldugunu simdi anliyorum.
affet beni.

"your eyes to the ground and the world spinning round forever
asleep in the sand with the ocean washing over"
almaz misin beni yanina? yoksa alamaz misin?

i heard there was a secret chord
that david played and it pleased the lord
but you don't really care for music, do you
well it goes like this the fourth, the fifth
the minor fall and the major lift
the baffled king composing hallelujah

hallelujah...

well your faith was strong but you needed proof
you saw her bathing on the roof
her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you
she tied you to her kitchen chair
she broke your throne and she cut your hair
and from your lips she drew the hallelujah

hallelujah...

baby i've been here before
i've seen this room and i've walked this floor
i used to live alone before i knew you
i've seen your flag on the marble arch
but love is not a victory march
it's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah

hallelujah...

well there was a time when you let me know
what's really going on below
but now you never show that to me do you
but remember when i moved in you
and the holy dove was moving too
and every breath we drew was hallelujah

well, maybe there's a god above
but all i've ever learned from love
was how to shoot somebody who outdrew you
it's not a cry that you hear at night
it's not somebody who's seen the light
it's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah

hallelujah...

Annesinin resmen para malzemesi yaptığı insan.Ama Grace albümü harikadır ağlatır kesinlikle.

(bkz: grace)

bunu dinlerken üstüne özdemir asaf okumak abaza bir genci bile aşk adamı yapabilir*

budur

oldukca hos sarki soyleyen, bana niyeyse morrisseyi andiran genc yasta kaybettigimiz sarkici.

http://www.jeffbuckley.com adresindeki peyote radio theatre'dan videoları izlenip güzelliğine ağlanılabilecek melek. kendisi ışıklar saçarak geldi geçti yeryüzünden. kalbi dinamit lokumuydu; kafası ateş topu.

(bkz: hallelujah)

lilac wine, lover you should've come over, Corpus Christi Carol gibi bunalımdaki insanı intihara sürükleyebilecek eserlere sahip, geç tanıdığım, erken yitirdiğimiz mükemmel ses. ama gitmeden bir güzellik yapmış grace albümünü bize hediye etmiştir.
