salsadan sonra en cok tercih edilen dans çeşididir. ayak haraketleri salsaya göre daha kolaydır ve eglenceli bir danstır.

1950'lerde mambo ve rumbanın karışımıyla ortaya çıkan latin amerikan dansıdır. son derece dinamiktir. çiftlerin her ortamda yapabileceği ve basit hareketler içeren bir dans olduğundan hızla gelişmiştir.

popüler ve cha cha ritminin baskın olduğu müzikler eşliğinde yapılabilir. öğrenim aşamasında daha yavaş müzikler kullanılır.

Küba menşeili bir Latin dansı. Salsaya göre hareketleri daha zor bence ama eğlenceli de. Latin gecelerinde genellikle salsa ya da Bachata yapıldığı için bu ikisinin öğrenilmesi bana daha mantıklı geliyor.
