2006 yapımı filmi de mevcuttur fakat asla romanın verdiği keyifi verememiştir. ayrıca bu romanda tüm stephen king romanlarında olduğu gibi misyoner bir anlatım tarzı betimlenmiş; şeytani güç ile tanrısal güç arasındaki mücadelede hristiyan inançları çok fazla ön plana çıkartılmıştır.
