facede vampire wars isimli kartlı dövüş oyunundaki en tehlikeli kartlardan biridir.

devour her turda bir dost üniteyi yer. dikkat edin, yediği düşman değil dosttur. yediği dostun enerjisini ve vuruş gücünü alır. her turda bir dost unitin ölmesine neden olduğu için riskli bir karttır. 2 ya da 3 tur sonra yediklerinin etkisiyle ölümsüze yakın bir güce ulaşır. normalde 2 vuruş ve 6 enerjili ortalama karta göre kıyaslarsak 6-10 vuruş gücüne ve 10-20 arası enerjiye ulaşır ki vurduğunu öldürür.

devour isimli yaratığın tek zayıf tarafı uçamaması olup, karşı tarafta kalan yaratık eğer uçuyorsa devour çaresiz kalmaktadır. bu sorunu çözmek için dost unitlerin tükendiği sıra ortaya çıkacak bir uçma büyüsü kartını envantere eklemelidir.
