Lost my grandma in May of 2013. She was my biggest fan. We always got along, but some things we didn't see eye to eye on. She hated almost all music that I liked, and vice-versa. However, one day when we were making the 7 hour trip from her house to some of our family out of state, she allowed me to play my "One Day Remains" album, and she somewhat enjoyed it. I didn't take part in the planning for her funeral, that was left to my father and his brother and sister, but they let my two cousins and myself pick some music to be played at her wake. I chose this song. When I first heard the song it brought me to tears because it had so much meaning and it moved me. It almost felt strange that this song that made me cry because it held so much meaning for someone else would one day hold that same meaning for me.
