lesothosaurus

Fosilleri Güney Afrika'da (Lesotho) bulunduğu için bu adı alan kuş ayaklı (ornithopod) dinozor Jura dönemi'nde yaşamıştı. Ornithopod dinozorlarınen eskilerinden biri olan Lesothosaurus, 1 metre boyunda küçük bir sürüngendi. Gerekirse iki art ayağı üzerinde çok hızlı koşabilen bu hayvan otoburdu.
